Z Corp wraps up another Flooring America scholarship promotion

Specialty videos provide a fun opportunity to get extra-creative
One of the major annual projects we undertake here at Z Corp PR & Digital
is the scholarship program for client Great Southeast Flooring America. This marked the fifth year that the local flooring business has bestowed scholarship money on college-bound seniors at area high schools.
Guidance counselors select a deserving senior from each school to receive a $1,000 award from Flooring America to help with college expenses. The announcement of the winner comes during the end-of-year awards ceremony for each school.
And that’s where the fun really gets started for Z Corp. The past few years, we’ve come up with specialty videos that play during the school ceremonies. This year’s was a Jeopardy! theme:
Nelson Green, owner of Great Southeast Flooring America, started the program as a way to help students from his alma mater, Satellite High School. Year after year, he expanded the program until it finally encompassed all 16 Brevard County high schools. To date, that amounts to $45,000 in scholarship money going to students.

Z Corp manages the entire scholarship process from start to finish for Flooring America. But the videos – which furnish an opportunity to be extra creative – are always our favorite part. We’re already looking forward to next year.
